I'm wanting to move the 2nd column up every day automatically.

In the first column, the bottom cell is =TODAY(), the one above that is =TODAY()-1, then =TODAY()-2 and so on.

The 2nd column has no formulas. I enter those by hand.

Being able to move the hand entered data up one cell to stay with the date next to it would be awesome.

Thanks for any assistance.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
is this for the purpose of builing the chart? Is there other data you enter in the data source?
what is the rationale for using the TODAY() function? There are other ways to get "Rolling Dates" for your chart data source. It may involve other steps to set up, but if your just concerned about entering a date and a value the TODAY() function is not necessary.

Are the dates continuous? Are there breaks for holidays/weekends?

additional question, do you want the chart to contain the entire data? or just the last 2 weeks/30 days/etc?

Thanks for the help.

Right now there are 24 rows of dates. Thats fine with me. Continuous no breaks.

Im using the TODAY() function because thats what this template was using. Downloaded it and modified it to do what I needed. Think it was a weight loss chart before.

I enter the data in the 2nd column by hand daily. The data then feeds the graph. Guess that needs to move as well.

The graphs sole purpose is to help others get more of an idea how the data is really changing day to day. Graph is easier to understand then just a column of numbers.

Thanks!
