need formula to double a number x times

I need a formula that will double a number in a cell by the amount of times in another cell.
Example, A1 = 2, B2 = 3 and I want to double the value of cell A1 (2) by the value of B2 (3).
So the formula should return the value 16. There has to be an easy answer for this.

Thanks so much! I new there had to be a fairly simple formula. I hope I don't get lazy and always just automatically post a formula problem instead of spending some serious time trying to figure it out by myself first. Thanks again.
