Need Formula or Function to Populate Column B with C and D

Thank you for time and any assistance, it is greatly appreciated. I need a formula or function to populate Column B from Column C and D. See table for color example on first item.

Then Numbers in Column C match column A and D is the string data I need in Column B. Thank you again

=VLOOKUP(A2,C:D,2,FALSE)
