IN SCREENSHOT 1, THATS THE MASTER FILE AND THE SCREEN SHOT 2 IS THE, you can say kid file.
screenshot 1:the first row have the name of books written init that is (msv-1,msv-2). its columns have codes and their names in it
screenshot 2:values come from the source file to each individual code in separate worksheet.these two files are externally linked , which is inconsistent.Is there a better way to summarize data and make it give the same result as screen shot 2 with some cool functions like pivot table and vlookup etc becoz its way much time consuming and difficult to link each cell to the source file.
