Hello,

I'm trying to see what formula I could use in Column D showing if the number in Column C has increased\decreased or stayed the same from Column B

Excel Facts

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
One way using nested IF functions:
Excel Formula:
=IF(B2<C2,"Decreased",IF(B2>C2,"Increased",IF(B2=C2,"Stayed the Same","Unknown?")))

=if(or(b2="",c2=""),"", if(b2=c2,"the same",if(b2>c2,"increase",if(b2<c2,"decrease","error"))))
