The client does live auctions. She wants to have a data entry area where data is entered real time for events as pledges are received. (I think that a dedicated data worksheet is indicated.)

She wants a dynamic figure -- I am using clustered bar chart -- that updates as pledges are added to the data so the audience can see the action. The objective is to show the figure to the audience in real-time as the pledges are made. There will be an assistant who enters the data.

Any suggestions about how to display a dynamic Excel figure real time? Ideally the Excel "container" (menu at the top and stuff at the bottom of the Excel Window) is not shown/visible to viewers. I hope for something that looks like a powerpoint slide.

Presenting it is my biggest challenge I think. "Separating" data entry and figure shown is another challenge. The best I could think of is to set up a mini lan between two laptops and then use a separate figure workbook that has links to the data input workbook.

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
I did find that I can paste a dynamic (linked) figure into powerpoint.
