Column A is a list of all fruits.
Column B lists their colors (if A1 is banana, B1 is yellow; if A2 is cucumber, B2 is green)
Column C is a random list of fruits, some in the column multiple times.
What formula do I need in D1 to tell me the color of the fruit in C1?

in D1
=index($B$1:$B$10000, match (C1,$A$1:$A$10000,0))
copy down
