Hi, I have a workbook with a named range called "Databas" (database in Swedish).
But when a friend opened the workbook with a Excel with english language settings the range name had changed to "Database" automaticly.
This messed upp an VBA-macro.

Do anyone know why the translation was done?
How can I prevent it in the future?

Hello,

That sounds very strange to me. More likely it got renamed by mistake.

What is exactly this named range? A structured table? If so, you might use Worksheet.ListObjects instead of Range to access it.
