Name suggestions

Hi all,,, Please could you help me with this.
When I start to type a name in a cell, I type the first letter and it shows the rest of
the name, for example If I type J J it will give the rest as J Jones, but if I carry on
and type the rest e,g, J Ja it does not give me Jackson as the rest, can I do something
about this and why does it not even give me any in another workbook?.
Its not important but if it can be done done I would like to.

If you have J Jackson and J Jones in your data, typing J J shouldn't offer any autofil (assuming they're all in the same table and column)

What does the data look like?

If the data is in the same column, it will auto fill if the name if....spelled EXACTLY the same AND has appeared in the column previously

Its not even giving me a suggestion in my other workbook, is there somewhere to turn in on and alter the options?.

When compiling lists of names in a worksheet, unless the name has appeared previously within that list.
However, you can add names to the dictionary...see here
