The first part can be achieved via the below formula. For the second part, you can use autofilter to display just those that are multiple entries, and delete just the visible rows. Or you could sort based on column C, and delete that way.

Good point. I've tweaked the formula so that the first combination of User and Role will be flagged as OK, all others will be flagged as duplicates. Assumes your data starts in row 2.

Formula in C2: =IF(SUMPRODUCT(--($A$1:$A1=A2),--($B$1:$B1=B2))>0,"Multiple entry","OK")
