Must use merged cells, but trying it to copy data I need gives an error

Hello there!
I have seen this problem here before, but the solution was to "not use merged cells". But at work, I have an report that I must save in excel format and cannot edit the report. The thing is, I can copy the data if I don't apply a filter. But I need to apply a filter to copy data in another software. Can it be done, if I really need to use merged cells? I tried to format the cells, to unmerge, but the data is corrupted when I do it. If someine knows a solution for this, I 'd really appreciate the help.

It's "unmerging", but the data is moved and partially deleted.

It shouldn't delete any data. It should simply move all the data to the first cell of the previously merged range. After unmerging, if you click on that first cell, is all the data visible in the formula bar at the top?
