I was wondering if anyone had any subroutines or subroutine examples in "multithreading VBA" I know VBA is by nature single threaded but I know there are ways of trying to emulate this type of processing and was curious what type of solutions existed on Mrexcel. My other question is have you noticed much of a performance gain by utilizing these techniques?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Thanks for that. I have read that as well as numerious stackexchange articles as well. I was curious about another idea which you might know the answer to. Imagine 2 workbooks in the same instance, can you run 2 macros simultaniously or does this require 2 seperate instances? Can 2 seperate instances of excel share variables and if not how would you transfer values between seperate instances?
