I am attempting to create an input table where I input how many of each cake made, and an output table that calculates # of bags for each ingredient used.

I know how to manually calculated this (Example: Vanilla cake has 300 cakes made, to calculate flour used [(300 cakes * 600 grams of flour)/500 grams per bag] = 360 bags of flour

Unfortunately I don't know the faintest idea where to start, vlookup, sumif, match, index, need to use a macro?? Any insight would be appreciated, not looking for someone to do the work for me, just a place to start would be grand. It would save so much time at work if excel could do this for me instead of myself manually doing it.

Goal: Input how many of each cake made (vanilla, chocolate, cherry) and the output table simultaneously calculates how many bags of each ingredient have been used that day.

P.S. not in the baking industry
