hello, is it possible to to select multiple values via checkbox from a data validation list?

Your title says dropdown list but your post says data validation list. I'm not being picky - it seems lately that I'm trying to augment my Access & Access vba knowledge with Excel stuff so for all I know, they are both one and the same. But I found this:
