Multiple identical results with VLOOKUP

When using the VLOOKUP function for something where there are multiple of the same result, is it possible to add them together?

For example, using VLOOKUP to find "Car 25S" and find the corresponding column value, but on my sheets occasionally "Car 25S" can appear multiple times in different rows due to things like model year or options. Is there a way for it to simply add together all of the values when getting multiple results?

If you are looking to take the sum of something, try using the SUMIF function.
