Multiple Excel sessions and clipboard issue

I am running multiple sessions of Excel with macros running and find that I am unable to effectively use "Copy/Paste" in another workbook while a macro is running in another session that is using copy and paste as part of its routine. Is there any way to have isolated uses of the clipboard for different Excel sessions? Is there an alternative to using the clipboard? Right now if I attempt to copy and paste while my other Workbook is running a macro routine that heavily uses copy/paste, the clipboard gets swapped for the other file's operation and I essentially have to wait for the other file to end it's macro operation.

I am opening a new session of Excel, which works fine, I just can't effectively put Copy/Paste to work in the new session while the other is running. I've searched the forum with no real luck, so thanks for any ideas.

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
What is it that you want copied over? You can for example use someRangeA.Value = someRangeB.Value to transfer values without using the clipboard.
You can use this method for more cell properties such as formatting, colour, text font etc. Not sure if you can transfer all of a cells properties at once, like copy+paste does, without accessing the clipboard.
