Hi, the issue that I am having is that I have two cells - one of them has a conditional setting where if you select lets say green from the list, it colours the background of that cell green, then the second also has a conditional setting where you select from the list a colour, lets say red, it colours the text in red. What I need to do is to combine both of those (green background and red text) into another cell in the same sheet. Thanks heaps!

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
Your image just shows that you are coloring one cell's fill green and another cell's text red, but doesn't give the rules you are using. But you just need to apply both of those same rules to the other cell. Multiple rules can apply at one time if they don't conflict, and background color does not conflict with text color.

Thanks, I am using conditional formatting for both of them so that once you select the colour from the list, it colour it that way (attached).
Is there a way that it can automatically show in the cell next to PREVIEW: that it's green fill and red text (see example 3 of what I am looking top show).

Forgot to mention that I've used Data Validation to create the list.

Take the rule that you are using for the top cell and apply it to the bottom cell.
Take the rule that you are using for the middle cell and apply it to the bottom cell.
