I have several worksheets contained with a single file. One worksheet is a check register, and another is Expense worksheet. I need to find a value on the check register based on both a date and category. I have used IF statements and VLOOKUP to find values based on single values, but multiple values (Date and Category) is eluding me. I am hoping that this is simple, just elusive, but will gladly use the sites tools to post table as needed. Thank you to anyone who reads this and can help.

You could potentially use SUMIFS or a combination of SUMIFS & Indirect to sum ranges across sheets with criteria.
