Hi,

i am quite new to the excel world and i was asked to help our field service team.

basically I try to make a kind of a cheat sheet - to let our team understand what they should mark and what they should not mark.

I need to check two fields. Named as

"Work" and the second is "Billing"
each field can be 5 different kinds, in example repairs oder maintenance etc and from contract to warranty etc.
I am struggling to find a (easy) way to lookup both cells and give an output in another cell. The output can differ from one combination to the next combination - sounds tricky? at least for me ! It is kinda difficult to explain but i hope you guys can assist me !

Let me show you examples
Repair + Warranty = nothing billable
repair + contract = nothing billable
repair + billable = parts + labour + travel
maintenance + contract = nothing

etc. I somehow "managed" to make it working with many many IF functions but not sure if it could be made easier with a lookup?

If you have any questions - feel free to ask !

I count on you guys and girls !

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
thanks for your

basically yes and no. it and on some option it is even depending on the contract type - so another plot to check. do you have any idea? or direction where you could lead me please?

if you define words in the first and / or second columns that make it billable, we can soon crack it...
