How do you make a msg box come up when a match is found between two tables. If there is a match I want a Msg Box that says "Match found" I don't need the table to appear.

the only way to do this is a little bit difficult ...
You have to do this with DAO or ADO-Extension.
Here you can open a table with a query and let VBA count the records in this temporary table. If recordCount is bigger than 0 => Match else No Match.
If you post more details, i can give you an example of the VBA-Code for your problem - explainig in detail how DAO or ADO works would take too long.
If someone has a solution without doing a lot of Code, please post it.
