I have used MrExcel many times when I have encountered problems with Excel and have always been able to find the solution. Now I have a question regarding MS Word. I have been looking for a site like this one which focuses on Word but have been unable to find one so I thought I'd see if anyone here knows of such a site or if someone here knew the answer.

I am writing a business plan for 2014 in MSWord. In this plan I have embedded some Excel spread sheets and charts that will update as the data changes for December. I am trying to find a way in which I can insert a figure as text that will update from an Excel spreadsheet when that information changes.

For instance; "2013 saw sales revenue of $2,987,324.00, an increase of $16.2% over 2012." I would like the revenue figure and the percentage to change as we earn revenue in December.

Is this possible or can anyone direct me to someone who can help me?

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
You could copy the cell from Excel and Paste as a Link in Word.
