I was wondering if anyone can help me with a word issue. I tried google but didn't find much help.

I am creating a form in Word. (I am not able to use Excel for this though it would have been easier). Anyways I have aform that people are placing orders into, I want to have the quantity and unit price to calculate an amount. I got that to work. The problem is if they don't fill all 11 lines then any line that desn't have an item shows an amount $0.00. I am trying to figure out how to make it not show anything. I tried the if function but got something unexpected. What I have now:

=Quantity1*UnitPrice1

This gives me the $0.00 value until an actual amount is placed in both fields.

The if Function I tried was:

=if(Quantity1*UnitPrice1=0,"",Quantity1*UnitPrice1)
This function however ended up giving me $t.00 as an answer if nothing was filled in the Quantity1 and UnitPrice1 fields.

Is it possible to get it to be blank?
