I’ve a MSP plan where more than 100 resources are forecasted. In the Resource Sheet I can see all resources with their Standard Rates (rates are different depending on skill set). Now by the end of this year the old rates are going to be replaced by new rates. Is there any shortcut to apply the new rates in bulk? I tried to use the replace function but getting a message that “Replace will not work with field (standard Rate) that I’ve selected”.

Any suggestion please?
My MSP version is 2003

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
For MS Project 2007, when I need to make bulk changes or updates for any of the Resource Fields, I copy-paste the data from the Resource Sheet; make the updates in Excel; then copy-paste the data back.

The key thing to be careful about in doing that is to not change the order of the rows. If you want to sort the data in Excel, you can add a column and autonumber it 1-~100 to preserve the order. Then sort by that column prior to pasting you data back into MS Project.
