MS Excel Data to MS Word Document

Hi All - Is it possible to create a macro or any automation tool that will allow me to take data i edited using a macro in Excel and copy it into a pre-existing MS Word template?
 

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Sort by date Sort by votes
Have you considered mailmerge or, if the source data are always sourced from the same cells or a named range, linking?
