So I have setup a dynamic excel spreadsheet that refreshes from MS Dynamics CRM using a simple SQL query (all setup at the touch of a button from MS Dynamics). I have setup a number of opportunity "health" indicators that simply look at the data and highlight potential problems within the criteria that I have defined utilizing conditional formatting within Excel. I have been successful in doing this for all of my data points, except for a column that displays percentages. For some reason, when the data is extracted from Dynamics to Excel, it is showing the column as a percentage (and I can calculate other formulas based on this data), however for some reason conditional formatting is not working for these cells. I noticed that if I double-click on the cell, the conditional formatting suddenly kicks in, but when I refresh the data, the conditional formatting does not apply (even though the data is exactly the same). I like to think that I know Excel pretty well, but this one has me completely stumped
Especially when it works after double-clicking the cell???
Any ideas? I am using MS Dynamics 2013 and Office Professional Plus 2013.
Thanks!
