Hey, welcome back to the MrExcel Netcast. I'm Bill Jelen.
Basically we start out with massive amounts of data.
So how are you going to analyze as well let's fire up a pivot table.
Let's see if you can solve this problem.
Hey there welcome back to the MrExcel Netcast. I'm Bill Jelen.
Today a great question sent in by Ewing.
That's just driving him just crazy. He has a pivot table and a pivot chart Excellent.
Notice here The labels are in alphabetical sequence and here they go the opposite way and when he changes it so it comes here and says sort Z to A.
So now the 120's at the top.
It's in opposite order. There is a great setting. It's not a pivot table setting or anything like that.
It's just a very simple chart setting.
We're going to right click over here along the left axis choose "Format axes" and right there, Categories in reverse order.
Now in excel 2003 you're going to do the same thing.
Right click "Format".
"Axis" is on one of the tabs.
You'll find "Categories in reverse order" and that will now allow the Chart to sort in the exact same sequence as we're seeing it in the pivot table.
Well, there you have it.
Thanks for stopping by. We'll see you next time for another netcast from MrExcel.
