Hey, Welcome back to the MrExcel Netcast I'm Bill Jelen.
Well it's another Friday.
So let me give you another quick tip.
This is one that no one necessarily sent in a question for but anytime I'm doing a seminar almost everyone catches me doing this and they think it's a cool tip they say, wait a second.
How are you flying from sheet to sheet to sheet to sheet so fast?
So you see here we have we have several worksheets and I can very quickly jump up and down from sheet to sheet to sheet.
Well the trick to this is to hold down the Ctrl key and use page up and page down.
If you do Ctrl page down you'll move to the right of the sheets and Ctrl page up will move you to the left.
So if you ever need to jump from sheet to sheet to sheet, rather than grab the mouse and go click on the sheet you can very quickly using the keyboard use Ctrl page up or Ctrl page down.
Now another interesting thing is that if you get so many worksheets that it's hard to navigate through.
These set of four controls over here.
If you would right click It actually pops up a list of all the different controls and if we would have so many sheets let me use Shift F 11 to add a whole bunch of new sheets that there's more than what can be shown when you right-click you might get the more sheets icon which actually pops up a brand new activate dialog where you can get a list of all the sheets and again, we get to that by right-clicking the set of four controls on the left hand side but again fast way to move from sheet to sheet to sheet Ctrl page up Ctrl page down.
Much faster than using the mouse.
Hey, thanks for stopping by. We'll see you next time for another netcast from MrExcel.
