Welcome back to the MrExcel podcast.
I'm bill Jelen. Now today I have a question for you the viewers of this podcast.
We ran into a problem last week where we actually have so many episodes that our RSS feed became too large and Feedber just refused to acknowledge it so we fell out of itunes for a couple of days and some of you wrote in and say hey What's going on? Where's the podcast?
Well our quick solution to that was to shorten up some of the descriptions.
I went back two episodes from a few hundred ago, and just made it one sentence descriptions.
Now If everyone used itunes I think this would be simple.
we would just show the last 50 episodes because that's all that itunes picks up.
But I realize there may be some people out there using other Pod Catchers.
I'm so the question is what do you use to watch the MrExcel Podcast?
and how many episodes do you think that we should have archived now?
I want to point out that every episode is available on the MrExcel website.
If you go to MrExcel and the Left-hand navigation there is a link for podcast and the Podcast page is really for people that are new to the podcast.
But if you scroll down to the bottom there's a link there to the podcast blog.
The podcast blog has every single episode since the beginnings.
You can actually search here or if you remember with something from april or something like that you can come and find by month every single episode.
So they're all there. The big question today is just really how many do we want to have in the RSS feed?
We can shorten that up and not have any more problems with Feedburner refusing to Publish the whole feed, so drop me a note bill at MrExcel.
Let me know whether you're using itunes or something else.
I mean, how many episodes you think we should have?
Stop back tomorrow for more excel tips.
hey, thanks for stopping by. We'll see you tomorrow for another podcast from Mr Excel.
