MrExcel Podcast Problem!!!

Hi,

I subscribed recently to MrExcel podcast without using the iTunes store. I was able to download some episodes but was unsuccessful doing that for the most recent ones. I am getting the following error message "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store". I am able to refresh my podcast list, but cannot download the newest episodes. Any idea that might fix this???

It sounds like it could be a firewall problem.

Are you in a corporate environment? Perhaps your I.T. department started blocking iTunes. If not, see if you can configure your firewall to allow iTunes through.

Also...I had a problem once where I tried to sync my kids' phone using Verizon's syncing software. I learned that the Verizon install screws up iTunes. I had to uninstall the Verizon software to let iTunes to connect.
