Does anyone else have this problem? Since this site was updated I have been fighting a battle trying to create new topics or reply to any. I constantly get errors when I press SUBMIT that say "INFORMATION--INVALID_SESSION". I have verified that I am logged in (in fact, my login name appears in the list of logged in members at the bottom of the screen). However, it takes me closing IE several times, cleaning out the cache several times, and cussing out loud a lot before I can reply to a post or create a new topic. I have changed my password and am set up to login automatically.

Another problem is when I do a SEARCH. I get several pages of responses but can only view page 1. I cannot view any previous history.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. This is so frustrating to not be able to use this site efficiently.

Moved to 'Questions about this board'

There are some questions about the same issue on this forum. Use the quick search here with 'Invalid session' to limit the search more.

Hey, cool. I'm in Bloomington :)

Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about the invalid session. This may give you some more information: http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article.php?article_id=54

As for the problem with the search...it's a known issue. I'm not quite sure why or what can be done about that one, either.

Hey, we're practically neighbors! And, I'm sure many people thought that it was raining coconuts during the Decatur Celebration this past weekend when a microburst blew out dozens of vendors and stages...just some very bad storms!! I also don't think my city is so pitiful but then, I'm the exception...

Thanks for the info. I didn't understand a lot of the article except that it is probably my company's firewall that is contributing to the problem. So I guess I will just live with it.

As of tonight, I should own a tshirt with the hamster line on it. I can't wait!!

We'll try to see what's going on with the search thing, though. It happens to me every now and then at the boards for PHP itself, too.

I made one change today suggested by phpbb that may improve this situation.
