Anyone else have issues with the maker no longer working. It doesn't show up in my add-ins anymore. I've re-downloaded, but that hasn't helped either. Anyone else have this issue? I have Windows 10, but it was working.

The reason can be in July+ security update(s) of Excel.
All downloaded files now are recognized dangerous and blocked silently.

To unblock such a file do as follows:
1. Close all Excel windows.
2. Locate the .XLA or .XLAM file in File Explorer.
3. Right-click the file and then click Properties.
4. Click the General tab and then in the Security area select the Unblock check box.
5. Click Apply - OK or just OK.

There is another way - put .XLA or .XLAM file to a trusted location on the local machine.
Excel comes with a set of default trust locations, see File - Options - Trust Center - Trust Center Settings - Trusted Locations.

What file am I trying to change to Unblock? Any XLA or Mr. Excel HTML Maker?

If you are unblocking rather than moving to a trusted location then you need to do each individual downloaded add-in separately so

Ok, because the HTMLMAKER does not have a security tab when I look at its properties. I tried to move it to a trusted location, however, our system won't let me, you have to be an administrator.

Thank you.

It does have a security tab on mine in it's properties but I am an administrator which might mean it is not visible if you are not.

This would make sense as Microsoft have put it in as a security measure (we can disagree with them whether they should have or not (especially with one's already installed) but they have done it) and so I would expect it to be only accessible to an Administrator.

Sorry, but I am afraid I can offer no suggestions if you don't have clearance other than to contact someone who does.

There are some other ways to unlock the file.
For example, on you local disk put the file of locked Add-In (XLA or XLAM) to the ZIP/RAR archive, delete the original locked file and extract the unlocked file of Add-In from that archive.
Or if you have USB flash drive formated as FAT32 (instead of as NTFS) then just copy the locked file of the Add-In to that drive and then copy it back unlocked.

It works fine for me on Excel 2016 32bit but can't answer for Excel 2016 64bit.

It doesn't working for me. I'm using ms excel 2016 64bit with windows 8 os. I followed the instructions - unblocking the file, tweaking on trust center settings and stuff. Good thing the forum tool add-in works on me
