Hi All,
I have created a drop down list like below. How can I move down the list one by one and then save it as a new tab in a new workbook?

Here is what I am trying to do:
1. Select Name1
2.save it as a new tab in a new workbook
3.Select Name2
4.save it as a new tab in a new workbook
and so on till the end of the list.
Thank you all in advance.

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
I believe that is a data validation list? If yes, then how did you create that list?

Yes,it is a data validation list. I used the data validation function and data from a reference tab.

Then why not loop through the items in the reference tab and then save the tab in a new workbook. Wouldn't it be the same as looping through items of the data validation list?

But every time I change the name, other data will change too.The purpose is to generate a statement for each individual. If I loop thru the reference page, will it achieve the same purpose?

Here is one way to achieve what you want.

1. Store all the names from the reference tab in an array. Much better and simpler than trying to get the content of the data validation list.
2. Loop through the array and then one by one update the cell which has data validation with the value from the array. This way the moment the value is changed the dependent cells will also change
3. In the same loop then simply save the relevant tab in a new workbook.
