Hi There,

Thank you in advance for your help!

I have a mass of data on a tab called "Detail". I have another tab (Summary) with a list of names. I need to pull information from the detail tab based upon the name in the "Summary" tab.

For example the information on each tab is:
Detail Tab: Full Name | Email Address | Telephone Number | Date of Birth
Summary: Full Name

I need the Summary tab to find the information from the data in tab "Detail" and pull it across, based upon the name in "Summary".

Try

=IF(A2="","",INDEX(Detail!B$2:B$10,MATCH(Summary!$A2,Detail!$A$2:$A$10,0)))

Drag this formula across and extend the ranges as needed to suit your data.

Assuming that you are using unique Full names, if by chance that you have two names the same the formula will collect the first occurrence.
