I am working with Excel 2007 and I would like to protect the worksheet, limit selection to unlocked cells and disable MoveAfterReturn. Wether I do this manually or with code the result is the same. If you disable MoveAfterReturn and Protect the worksheet only allowing selection of unlocked cells, the MoveAfterReturn continues funtion as if it was enabled. If you unprotect the sheet or protect it allowing selection of locked cells then disabling the MoveAfterReturn works as expected.

How do you protect the worksheet, limit selection to unlocked cells and disable MoveAfterReturn?

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
Already done. As soon as I protect allowing only the selection of unlocked cells, Excel acts as if that setting is checked.
