Move data into empty row and remember

Hi, so I'm really new to this and don't even know how to get started with this one.

I have information in cell "AU" on sheet "Input Sheet".
I want to move the information in this cell to the first available row in column "B" on sheet "Master Sheet" when I press a button.
The information in cell AU will be constantly changing so I somehow want the cell in column B to remember what went into it.
I literally have no idea what I'm doing so any help would be appreciated.

something like this will get you started

sheets("Input Sheet").range("AU1").copy
sheets("Master Sheet").range("B1").end(xldown).offset(1).paste
