MOVE All Numbers to Their Own Column
Hello All,

"I have 5 columns of data [A-E]; Column ""A"" is alternating rows of ""text-more text-numbers-empty cell".
I need to efficiently move EACH number FROM the even numbered rows they currently occupy (4,8,12,16, etc.) in Column ""A"", & OVER TO Column ""F"", but still remaining on the original row

Thanks,
Turk182

Try these manual steps with a copy of your data. (I don't use Mac but I think should be the same)
  1. Select all of col A, Copy and Paste into column F
  2. Select all of column F
  3. Press F5 -> Special... -> Constants -> Remove the tick from 'Numbers' -> OK
  4. Press the Delete key
  5. Select all of column A
  6. Press F5 -> Special... -> Constants -> Remove the tick from everything except 'Numbers' -> OK
  7. Press the Delete key
If F5 does not work for you in steps 3 or 6 use Home ribbon tab -> Find & Select -> Go To Special ..
