After troubleshooting why my Excel 2007 seemed to be unnaturally sluggish, especially with copy/paste functions, I traced the problem to Microsoft's "Mouse Without Borders" app (which lets you share a single mouse/keyboard with two different computers, and glide from one desktop onto the other, kind of like the old 'Synergy' app).
Anyone use MWB, and have any idea why it doesn't play well with Excel? I can't find the source that explained the nature of the MWB/Excel conflict, but it had something to do with the clipboard (in addition to turning two desktops into a single one, MWB allows you to share the two computers' clipboard contents.) Apparently, Excel's copy/paste function can get laggy when another app is syncing with the clipboard, or the like. Solution would seem to be as simple as not using MWB + Excel concurrently...except I like MWB, so if there's a way to fix the lag while still allowing me to use them both, I'd prefer that...
