Mouse Mystery

This is probably the wrong forum, but I'll try.

I have this new mouse that I was using which I'm just learning has some new features. It a Dell N231. Anyway I was just scrolling around and I just hit something by mistake and all of a sudden I had command button placed on an Excel Sheet I was in, and with some music playing I was automatically placed in Design Mode. Is anyone aware of these new features which apparently was generated by the Mouse??

You can go into the Mouse's properties/set up and figure out what actions are attached to each button, wheel, etc.

Every once in a while my Logitech mouse has a brain fart and I have to reset it.
