Hi All,

It’s Monday morning here in Sydney and I’ve had a brain freeze. I’ve even spent a bit of time on Google trying to search up the answer but with no luck. I think this is simple, but at the moment I’m stuck on how to do it. Basically I have this

A B
Name Calls

John 4
John 2
John 6
John 3
Mary 4
Mary 2
Anthony 6
Anthony 1

And on a different tab in Excel I have the “Names” as a list and I just want a formula that counts the # of instances where “Calls” are greater than (or equal to) 3 (from the above data which is on a different tab).

Anyone care to refresh my memory or atleast point me in the right direction as to which function to use? Would it be a COUNTIF with multiple criterias?

Thanks!

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
you will need a sumproduct ... brain is also frozen as it is sunday night here !!!

=sumproduct(--(A1:A1000="John"),--(B1:B1000)>=3)

ought to be close.
