Monarch to Excel

to start I would like to know how to export a Monarch template to Excel.
2) does any one know of any links of tutorials on this subject (monarch* to excel)

I can help you if I am understanding what you are trying to say in your request.

There is a programmers guide on the Datawatch.com website. Datawatch is the parent Corp that sells Monarch. This is quite useful if you export data alot to Excel. If not you can do it manually from within Monarch.

The Monarch template itself cannot not be exported. The data derived from the template can.

Within Monarch there are 3 views 1. the Window view which is the raw data before the template is applied. 2. The table view and 3. the summary view.

Both the Table and Summary views may be exported to Excel. Simple choose either the Table or the SUmmary view then click file export and follow the on screen dirrections.

I hope this helps, I am a very heavy user of both Monarch and Excel as I deal with huge amounts of raw data and have used Monarch for many years.
