I sifted through the propeties of a pair of modern charts I added to the front page (the main default Form that opens when Access is started) to see if i can find how i can change when the chart updates and i did not see anything.

The graphs will update if i Close and reopen Access but is there a way i can change it so for example when we know we updated the data that the charts are referencing while access is still open i think it would be nice to click on the chart to have it rerun the query its based on to update the chart.

What are my options? internet searchs give me findings on how to insert and edit format but nothing shows up for changing update settings.
