Mobile App linked to Excel?

Hey all, I don't feel as this should be difficult, however I have had no experience in the app development field. I simply need to create a mobile app with a specific number of textboxes and when data is entered in them and a button is pressed, the data is transferred to a specific excel sheet. I feel as if there must be some template online to do this, I want to create this for ease of a process and desire no monetary gain from the app store. If anyone has some tips or links, it would be greatly appreciated!
