Hey all,

First post on here and I'm a brand new VBA user. I'm trying to pull data from Excel into the form fields of a Word document I've created. Some of the data I'm trying to pull are dates formatted as mm/dd/yyyy, but needs to be in Month Day, Year format for the document (i.e. "02/04/2013" needs to pull over as "February 4, 2013").

Any thoughts are much appreciated!

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Something like this should work. You can modify to suit your needs.

Sub DateText()
Dim dDate As Date
Dim sDate As String

dDate = Range("A1").Value
sDate = Format(dDate, "mmmm dd, yyyy")
MsgBox (sDate)

End Sub
