I have a cell that does not have a formula, but i need it to have a minimum value of 1.00 in it.

it can have larger number in it, but no lower than 1.00, it must always have a value in it.

Thanks for the help

Chad

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
You can use data validation.

under Allow: select custom

for the Formula enter =K9>1 change K9 to match your cell.

This will give a message when someone tries to enter a value less then 1. You can customize this under the Error Alert tab

Hey, try a data validation rule on the desired cell:

Data Validation -> Settings Tab -> Allow: Custom -> Formula: =A1>=1

Then in cell A1 you will not be able to enter a cell that is less than 1.
