Minimum date & Minimum value from a cell

Hello People, hope you are doing well!

I am looking for an excel formula to get a minimum date & minimum value from an excel cell. column A has date and i want the minimum date in column C based on column A. Similarly Column B has the numbers and i want minimum value in column D based on Column B. Thank you in advance.

=MIN(FILTERXML("<k><m>"&SUBSTITUTE(A2,",","</m><m>")&"</m></k>","//m"))

This may need to be confirmed with Ctrl Shift Enter

Fluff's formula is certainly better, but I already had it finished, so here it is:
