I am trying to build DA6 form (military duty roster form) that uses excel, but takes into consideration a Soldier's weighted percentage that is based on a few variables such as number of times Soldier has done duty, if the duty was on the weekend, was the duty a priority 1 vs a priority 3, and did the Soldier get called by higher to actually conduct the duty or did he luck out and the duty get cancelled or not executed. I want to make it very easy so others can do it by just enter how much weight to each variable, and click execute.
A DA6 works as such, each Soldier is assigned a number value ranging from 1 to the number of Soldiers on the roster. The Soldier with the highest number is assigned duty. The next day of duty, the Soldier who had the highest number is reset to 1, while all remaining Soldiers increase their own number by 1. The new highest numbered Soldier is assigned duty. Here is a link to a DA6 that someone built that is great, but does not take into consideration the weighted percentages.
