Migrate from access 2003 to 2010

Hi
One of the field in the table which structure is set as 'Text' and the records in this field have both Text and Number. In access 2003, it has no issue when I copy and paste (over 10,000 records) to this access table. However, after migrating to access 2010, only Numbers in this field are copied to this table for these 10K+ records. But when I copy and paste separately (ie filter the 'Text' to copy and then filter the 'Number' to copy or vice versa), it works. Please advise how to fix so as not to double the work.
