Does any know of a similar forum for Microsoft Word? I'm having problems between 2007 and 2013 of Word.

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
You can ask your Word question here, at the proper section.

I created a form in Word 2013 which contains some tables with checkboxes and textboxes. I saved this document as a .doc (2007). When I close this document and reopen it in Word 2013, it is fine. However, when I try to open it in 2007, the format changes. There is one table that got moved and another table with textboxes are not showing. Does anyone what is causing this?

But there is not much interest taken in WORD questions genareally at MrExcel.
We do have a few Word experts here who will answer questions, if they see them.

Do you get compatibility mode warnings when saving as doc?
Both versions you mentioned are XML based. Try saving as docx with 2013, open with 2007 and see what happens.

Simply re-opening the file in different Word versions on the same PC shouldn't result in a layout change. However, because Word uses the active printer driver to determine the layout, opening the document on PCs using different printers, or even the same printer with different drivers, can result in layout changes. This is quite common. Even that, however, should not result in content disappearing. If you care to attach the problem document to a post, I can investigate what might be causing that behaviour.

How do I attach document? I don't see an icon to attach.
