I have a Word document with links to objects in an Excel workbook. I have set all the links in Word to manual update and I set the option in Word where I unchecked the box for update automatic links when documents open. However, when I open the Word document it then performs an update of all links.

I know this is not a specific Excel questions, but hoping some one here might point me in the right direction to determine why this occurring.

Thanks,

Steve

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
That will happen if the Excel workbook is open, regardless of the settings in Word.
