Microsoft wallpaper

I have attempted to delete some of the XP (default) wallpaper. but XP rebuilds those files and replaces them only a few seconds later (in the Windows folder).

Don't believe me? Try it.

Does anyone know how to stop this behavior.

When I delete a file, I want it to STAY deleted!

No offense, but there is no such thing as "can't".

Microsoft is the 'hot-rod' of the computer world.
If anything is customizeable, its MS; just a matter of finding and manipulating the right files.

Come on people, I know someone out there can figure this out.

Perhaps try turning off system restore-delete files and restart.
